Part-time ELL teacher position - Kalihi Elementary School

1 part-time teacher (PTT) for our ELL program working with K-5 students
Pay: 15 hrs./week @ $13-$20/hr. to be determined upon employment
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11:15-2:15
Requirements: college bachelors degree, near-native English proficiency
Preferred: experience with children, pursuit of a degree in education or related fields

Part-time ELL teacher position - McKinley High School

McKinley High School is currently looking to hire ELL part-time teachers who are language speakers in the following areas:

A. Chinese
B. Cantonese
C. Mandarin
D. Chuukese/Micronesian

*Job Title: PTT= Part-Time Teacher
*The hours are max 17 hours per week....no benefits/no insurance... $20.00 dollars & some odd cents per hr
*Candidates will work with teachers instructional...inside the classroom to help ELL students achieve academically
*Candidates will also tutor students
*Candidates will also carry out other duties & responsibilities, pertaining to the needs of the ELL program.

Part Time TESOL Instructor Needed In Hilo, Hawaii.

Two part time TESOL Instructors are needed in Hilo.  Lessons will typically take place on or near local University campuses Saturdays and Sundays for three consecutive weekends (up to 6 courses per year, dependent on student registrations).

TESOL Instructors prepare and facilitate TESOL/TESL/TEFL teacher training certification courses using curriculum developed by Oxford Seminars and tailored by each Instructor to suit their strengths.  The curriculum and resource materials provided minimize preparation time for class sizes of 15 – 25 students and include:
•    Lesson planning;
•    Classroom management techniques;
•    Skills development (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing);
•    Contemporary second language acquisition methodologies;
•    Strategies for acquiring ESL teaching jobs around the world.

Major Responsibilities:
•    Deliver material in an engaging and highly interactive manner by sharing your ESL teaching experiences;

Major Qualifications:
•    2+ years of ESL teaching experience abroad
•    1+ years of local ESL teaching experience
•    College or university graduate
•    B.Ed, M.Ed, MA TESOL would be an asset

Wage: $30 per hour (starting)
